Meet Butch Miller
Butch has worked to keep our state the No. 1 for business and a safe haven for the God-fearing, traditional values that make our State and Nation great. He’s running for Lt. Governor to defend our conservative accomplishments, to enrich Georgians with jobs-friendly policies, to defend our Constitutional rights, and to protect and promote the sanctity of life and opportunity. Butch will never bow to the mob and was proud to ensure passage of Georgia’s election security bill. He stands firmly against the extremists who want to defund the police and will always fight to make sure our children are taught the truth: America is the greatest country on earth.
Raised in Northeast Georgia, Butch is a Christian, husband and father. While in college, Butch met the love of his life, Teresa, and they were blessed with three sons: Cole, Carey and Charlie. At the age of 14, Cole tragically passed away from a lifelong, severe mitochondrial disorder and cerebral palsy. The community rallied around the Millers at that time, and since, the family has given back through Challenged Child & Friends and the John Jarrard Foundation to help others who experienced challenges. The community support the family received has inspired Butch’s public service in elected office. With Carey and Charlie’s wives both expecting, the Millers are beyond excited to welcome their first grandchildren in 2022.
Small Business Owner
Butch’s business career started by selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts to put himself through college. From there, Butch worked his way up in the automobile industry to ownership of Milton Martin Honda and continues to run the business today.
Butch knows the difficult decisions small business owners have to make every day to make a business successful. As someone who signs the front of paychecks, he understands the burden that overregulation and high taxes put on job creators. That experience has shaped his record in the state Senate, where he has successfully led to cut taxes, reduce red tape and incentivize economic development that puts money in the pockets of hard-working Georgians. He’ll continue to strive to make Georgia the best state in the nation for small business as Lt. Governor.
